IdentityCheck integrates directly with Xero Practice Manager (XPM) to make verifying identity and onboarding clients as simple and secure as possible. There are two primary workflows:

1️⃣ Verifying existing clients

We install a lightweight, custom trigger inside XPM. You simply check a box next to the contact you want to verify — no need to leave XPM. We automatically send them a secure email or SMS with a unique verification link.

The client completes a short mobile-friendly process using their government-issued photo ID and a live selfie. IdentityCheck performs biometric face matching and (optionally) PEP, Sanctions, and Adverse Media screening.

Once complete, the result is posted back into XPM — either as a verified status (default, no personal data stored) or with optional field and file write-back for practices that require data retention.

2️⃣ Onboarding new clients

We provide your firm with a unique, branded onboarding form URL. You can embed it in your welcome email, proposal or contract software, or even publish it on your website.

Clients complete a short, dynamic form — which automatically adapts to handle complex structures (e.g. multiple individuals, family members, company directors, or trusts) without overwhelming them.

Once submitted, the system can: • Automatically trigger ID verification • Create or update XPM client records • Collect supporting documents with secure file upload • Verify sensitive data such as Tax File Numbers (with redaction), ABNs, ACNs, etc. • Dynamically place these steps before or after the ID check — depending on your flow
