- Access HR or compliance support and advice
- Assign and manage jobs and tasks
- Manage leave or time off
- Offboarding employees or contractors
Overview
MyHR integrates perfectly with Xero payroll software. Live data is sent from MyHR to Xero to allow you to pay staff, automate tax, pay and super or KiwiSaver calculations and report payroll details to the ATO (in Australia).
Employees can view their current leave balances, and apply for and have leave approved, all via their MyHR account.
Benefits of connecting Xero and MyHR
- Cut down on duplicate data entry when new employees join your business and when employees apply for leave in MyHR.
- Provide managers and employees with the information and tools they need to request and approve leave without needing to log in to your payroll system.
To use this integration, you’ll need a MyHR account and a Xero account.
MyHR + Xero
Integrating MyHR with Xero Payroll greatly reduces your admin load, cutting down the time it takes to move data between your business apps. By automatically syncing employee details and approved leave to Xero Payroll, the integration helps you avoid manual data errors and ensures you pay people the right amount at the right time.
Features
- Automatically syncs MyHR employee data to Xero Payroll
- Updates MyHR with the relevant leave request types and balances from Xero Payroll
- Allows you to control which leave balances your managers and employees can access in MyHR
- Automatically syncs approved and canceled leave from MyHR to Xero Payroll to feed into your pay runs
For new employees
New employee records are automatically created in Xero Payroll when:
- A new employee e-signs their first employment contract in MyHR, or;
- A signed copy of their employment contract is manually uploaded to MyHR.
Employee information entered when a person is added MyHR, along with any relevant personal details the employee entered, such as bank account and TFN or IRD number, are used to populate as many details as possible in Xero Payroll. This establishes the link between MyHR and Xero Payroll for the employee, allowing accurate and up-to-date leave balances from Xero to display in the MyHR Platform.
The integration also allows you to choose to manually send new employee details from MyHR to Xero Payroll at any time.
For existing employees
For existing employees, the integration process will require the link between both MyHR and Xero Payroll to be established manually. MyHR can assist you with the integration process.
Approved leave
Once an employee is linked between MyHR and Xero Payroll, you and your employee will be able to see their up-to-date leave balances directly in MyHR and any leave you approve will automatically be sent to Xero.
Pricing and packaging
There’s no extra cost to connect your Xero and MyHR accounts and the integration is available on all MyHR’s packages. You’ll be up and running with the click of a few buttons and the support of the MyHR team.
