Why are invoices only 1 way????

Ah, the Ramp folks are pretty responsive. Their corporate card program is good. Their expense platform is free, and the equal of Expensify, and maybe better because Expensify's crazy single thread Concierge communication chat makes support hard to interact with. But alas, Ramp, what is so hard about synchronizing my Xero Invoices for payment from Ramp? PLEEEEAAAAASE!!!! I can't originate my invoices from Ramp. You make me do duplicate work for things that are long before automated. Meanwhile, everybody else seems to be able to do this. The Melio guys do this. It's not that hard. Really! It's an API! Please. Please. Please.

Enterprise Solution - not for small business

I found this app in the Xero marketplace while researching solutions for my client. I signed up for a demo and this is the email I received from sales: Hi Stacy, Thanks for scheduling time with me! Excited to show you our platform. Before our call, can you confirm you meet our requirement of 75k+ cash balance in a US bank account? If so, could you then answer the below questions (should only take 90 seconds!): What is your estimated monthly corporate card spend? (Need to ensure we can provide a high enough limit) Current corporate card program? Current accounting provider? (Will want to make sure we integrate) Do you use any expense management tooling? What Ramp products are you interested in? (Corporate Cards, Employee Reimbursements, Flex (buy now, pay later), Bill Pay, etc.) Anything top of mind that you'd like to cover on the call? Thanks so much - looking forward to speaking with you soon. Best, Ryan

Response from Ramp

Hi Stacy, thank you for your feedback. Ramp provides a spend management product for businesses of all sizes, and our customers include companies with as few as 1-2 employees. As Ramp includes the powerful ability to issue corporate credit cards to employees with extensive spending controls, a financing application is required to make full use of the product. This is standard practice for any corporate spend product that includes the ability to issue cards. I hope that helps!

Oversight and Accountability

We utilize Ramp internally and with our clients. It provides a robust offering of alerts and reporting and allows us to provide accountability to our team members without being overbearing and micromanaging them. The ability to set a budget for team members and to exclude certain vendors is great. The integration with Xero is fast and effective too.
