You can connect any number of Xero accounts to Tallybreeze. The system references your Xero chart of accounts to map reservation line items and reconciliation to the correct ledger accounts. In Xero, Tallybreeze posts invoices or bills, or a combination of both, detailing the reservations and transactions stemming from your Airbnb payouts. Bank reconciliation can be automated via a clearing account and bank rule, which is the preferred method for most users. Alternatively, you can reconcile invoices directly to deposits within Xero.

You can use your own chart of accounts or, optionally, you may import one of our predefined templates. If you choose a template, Tallybreeze will create a corresponding set of ledger accounts in Xero. These templates represent common business models in the industry, including:

Tallybreeze is available as a monthly service, with the additional option to import years of historical Airbnb data for an additional fee. You can connect multiple Xero accounts directly to your Tallybreeze account, or access your client's Tallybreeze account through our client portal.

FAQ Q: Do you connect with Airbnb directly? A: Yes. And we do not connect as a PMS, your Airbnb account is not converted into a PMS-managed account, and we do not conflict with any other PMS connected to Airbnb. Airbnb is connected directly (rather than through a PMS) because all financial events originate from the Airbnb account itself, making it the most accurate and reliable source of truth for Airbnb financial data.

Q: Is historical data included in the subscription? A: During free trial, you can import the current calendar month and one previous calendar month absolutely free. Historical Import beyond the previous month is priced and charged separately in bulk and is based on number of months and number of listings imported. We analyze each import request and provide an estimate before you agree to pay.

Q: Do we integrate with Guesty? A: Tallybreeze integrates with Guesty but this is only supported in our Quickbooks integration (not Xero). If you have any questions about connecting with Guesty, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Q: Do we integrate with Vrbo? A: You can integrate Vrbo through a supported PMS connection. For example, we integrate with the Guesty PMS, which allows your Vrbo data to flow into Tallybreeze through Guesty.
