See My Bills + Xero
The See My Bills integration with Xero is a straightforward and secure process designed to get you up and running quickly. Once connected, the app uses your Xero data to power its features, providing you with real-time insights without any manual data entry.
What we sync from Xero
- Outstanding and Settled Invoices We securely pull all your approved and outstanding invoices directly from your Xero organisation. This ensures your customer's See My Bill dashboard is always a complete and accurate reflect of their accounts payable.
- Credit Notes Issued credit notes can also be obtained by your customers so that your customers can reconcile any issued refunds or credits.
- Transactions By offering your customer a full statement of transactions, any credits or debits issued to them become instantly clear and they can easily manage their account with you reducing the need for direct contact.
How the data flows The integration is one-way, from Xero to See My Bills. The app reads your bill data from Xero via a secure connection. This ensures your financial records in Xero remain the single source of truth and are never altered by See My Bills. When a bill is paid and marked as such in Xero, its status will automatically update in See My Bills, ensuring your dashboard is always current. We use industry-standard security protocols to protect your data during this process. Your Xero login details are never stored by our app, as the connection is managed securely through Xero’s own authentication process.
This seamless data flow eliminates the need for manual updates and reduces the risk of human error. It also means that when you approve a new bill in Xero, it will automatically appear in See My Bills.

Getting started
Connecting See My Bills to Xero is simple and takes just a few moments. We’ll guide you through the process step-by-step.
Here's how to connect:
- Click "Get this app" at the top of this Xero App Store page. This is the fastest and easiest way to start.
- Create your See My Bills account. You'll be directed to our website to sign up for an account. Follow the prompts to create your account.
- Connect to Xero. Once inside the See My Bills app, you will be guided to connect to your Xero organisation. Simply click the "Connect to Xero" button and follow the on-screen instructions to authorise the connection.
Once connected your See My Bills admin console will be ready to go for self-service configuration and the ability to invite customers to access it. You'll be up and running in minutes.
