Simple Setup Process:
Connect Your Accounts: Click the "Get this app" button on this Xero App Store listing. This will redirect you to your CleanCloud account and start the connection process. Log in to your CleanCloud account (or start a free trial). Navigate to Settings > Admin > Accounting Integration. Click the Connect to Xero button and follow the simple on-screen prompts to authorise the connection.
Map Your Accounts: Once connected, a "Map Accounts" box will appear. This is where you link the sales categories and payment methods in CleanCloud (e.g., Laundry Sales, Dry Cleaning Sales, Cash Payments) to the correct accounts in your Xero Chart of Accounts. Choose the corresponding Xero account for each CleanCloud sales code, tax rate, and payment type. This is crucial for accurate reporting.
Set Your Sync Preferences: Configure your daily sync settings. Choose how often you want your daily revenue data to be sent to Xero. Set up any additional features, like the option to automatically mark an invoice as paid in CleanCloud when it is paid in Xero.
Start Syncing: Your daily sales revenue, payment details, and invoices will now automatically sync to Xero. Complete a cash-up in CleanCloud at the end of the day, and the data will be waiting in Xero for an easy bank reconciliation.
