Fishbowl Manufacturing is a fully featured inventory management solution. Create, manage, or view advanced work orders, bills of materials, lot and serial number tracking, barcode scanning, available-to-build calculations, true cost of goods, yield calculations, and more.

Syncing Xero with Fishbowl inventory is a seamless integration process
As a user, you enjoy the opportunity to instantly update accounting records and even create new general ledger accounts from Fishbowl. Some added inventory management system benefits include:
Tighter accounts receivable practices where Fishbowl handles order fulfillment, including sales orders, picking, packing, and shipping, updating Xero with appropriate accounting adjustments such as inventory assets, cost of goods sold, and income.
Convenient accounts payable process, where Fishbowl manages inventory and purchase order creation and sends bills to Xero with mandatory accounting entries.
Dual payment streams as any payment accepted in Fishbowl will also be added to Xero. Of course, you have the choice of taking payments in Xero or using its online bill pay option.
Programmed syncing of contacts since customers and vendors are automatically added to Xero from Fishbowl.
Automated inventory adjustments as inventory changes and updates in Fishbowl are sent to Xero to keep your books on target.
Automated manufacturing adjustments as when work orders are completed in Fishbowl, they will post to Xero to update the general ledger.
Getting started
To integrate Fishbowl with Xero, first go to the Accounting Integration module in the Fishbowl interface and then click the Configure tab and the big blue Connect to Xero button.
Follow the instructions in the wizard that pops up to log into your Xero account and click the Authorize button to get an authorization code, which you will enter into the appropriate textbox. Pick the accounts in Xero that you want Fishbowl to correspond to, and create any ones that don’t currently exist with the help of an additional wizard.
Click Finish and the integration will be ready to go.
Importing and exporting information between the two solutions is as easy as pressing a button under the General tab of Fishbowl’s Accounting Integration module.
