Simple, Fast Setup Process
Follow these three simple steps to connect Xero and monday:
1. Install the App
Click the “Get this app” button on this listing. This directs you to the monday Apps Marketplace. Follow the on-screen instructions to add Boost Plugins for monday to your monday workspace.
2. Connect to Xero
Once installed, navigate to the app’s Getting Started board within your monday workspace. You will be prompted to log in to your Xero account. Select the specific Xero organization you wish to connect. This uses Xero’s secure OAuth2 process to grant the app the necessary permissions.
3. Configure Your Syncs
The app features an easy-to-use configuration interface.
- Map Data: Choose which Xero data (Contacts, Products, etc.) you want to sync to which boards in monday. Auto-mapping for common fields is done for you.
- Set Up Filters: Select if you only want specific data by using filters. You can set up one board for draft invoices and one board to paid invoices, as an example.
- Create Automation Recipes: You can create more complex automation workflows by implementing your own recipes to mirror columns to other boards and trigger existing workflows with Xero data.
