Getting started

Connect from the Xero Marketplace Find RunGopher in the Xero Marketplace and click to get started. You'll be taken to the RunGopher connection page, which is the starting point for linking your Xero organisation.

Authorise Xero Access You'll be redirected to Xero to approve access for RunGopher. Select the correct Xero organisation from the list and click Allow Access. This grants RunGopher permission to read your accounts receivable data.

Sign in via Xero SSO After authorisation, you'll be prompted to sign in once more through Xero. This is an intentional security step and not an error. Complete the sign-in to continue.

Create your RunGopher account If you're new to RunGopher, you'll be taken to the setup page where your Xero organisation details are pre-filled. Confirm your timezone, country, and email, then configure your invoice sync preferences including how many days overdue an invoice should be before RunGopher acts on it. You can enable Test Mode if you'd like to validate the integration before going live. Click Save & Continue when ready.

Review your invoice sync settings Once setup is complete, you'll land on the Xero Sync Dashboard. Start by reviewing your invoice sync status to confirm RunGopher is picking up the right invoices. From here you can also configure your business hours and communication schedule to control when voice calls and SMS reminders are sent.

Go live Once you're satisfied with your settings, disable Test Mode, and RunGopher will automatically begin following up on overdue invoices for you!
