Our integration with Xero allows potential customers (with the Xero Accounting package) to connect with us seamlessly and significantly reduce the time it takes for a decision on their loan application.
Nucleus Commercial Finance + Xero
The Xero to Nucleus Commercial Finance App is integrated through our trusted Open Account partner Codat. The integration can be divided into three main components:
- Access to your Xero accounting data via an API. This allows us to use your accounting data to underwrite your loan application against all of our loan products.
- Successful applications are required to provide load data to Xero. This ensures that your Xero accounts are kept up to date
- Repayments to the lender (Nucleus) is also sent to Xero to allow you the customer to reconcile your accounts significantly faster than doing this task manually.
Getting started
Connecting to Xero to provide Nucleus Commercial Finance with your accounts data is quick and east to setup.
- As a customer or prospect, you will receive an email from Nucleus Commercial Finance with information about us and why we are contacting you. This email will also host a link (and a secret code) for you to click-through to access the Nucleus App for Xero Accounts data.
- From the App, enter the Secret key to get access. Keep a hold of this secret key as you can use this as many times as you want to view or make changes to your Xero connection to Nucleus.
- Once you are in the App, you will have the option to: a. Disconnect/Connect your Xero account from Nucleus b. Disable/Enable your Writeback function – this will not send any repayment data from Nucleus to Xero c. Select your Business Bank Account d. Select your Expense Account e. Select the Start Date you wish for your Writeback of load data to Xero from Nucleus.
