Conversion Did Not Go Perfectly

I just used MMC Convert to convert a QBO file to Xero and the quality of work was ok, but not perfect by a long shot. They missed 500+ transfers from the main operating account to 2 credit card accounts making the balances wildly incorrect, the sales tax account was incorrect and had to be adjusted monthly for 18+ months, among other things. Additionally, they missed multiple deadlines, and their status updates were a nice concept but poorly executed. The updates were either arriving out of order or had to be retracted after sending them to me. For example, I had received an update that data was pushed to Xero when it was not. I had to follow up several times for the work to be completed and in the end, I made the corrections myself. I am an accountant and I don't think a business owner would have known that there was an issue (aside from the obviously incorrect account balance) or would know what to do to correct the issues. Overall, I would give this a C+ and would try them again once more, but that's it. The main reason I chose to work with them is because they convert multi-currency files, where JetConvert (free or paid) cannot handle this type of conversion.

Conversion from STESSA Platform

My name is Susan Seniceros, and I use the STESSA platform for managing my business accounting. For quite some time, I had been planning to move away from STESSA and explore a new accounting platform. After careful consideration, I decided to migrate to Xero. Starting fresh on Xero was not a challenge for me; however, the biggest concern was migrating my historical financial data. Bringing complete historical data into Xero was extremely important for my business, and maintaining two accounting systems in parallel was not a viable option. I reached out to several conversion companies, including those recommended by Xero, but unfortunately, none of them were able to support this conversion. After searching through the Xero Marketplace and social media, I came across MMC Convert. They were the only company that confidently assured me they could handle the conversion from start to finish. From the very first interaction, their communication was clear, professional, and reassuring, which made the entire conversion journey smooth and stress-free for me. I was particularly impressed by their reasonable pricing and realistic timelines. Today, I am happy to say that I have successfully moved to Xero with all my historical data intact and have already started working on the platform. This transition would not have been possible without MMC Convert. I highly recommend MMC Convert to business owners and accountants who are planning to move from their existing software to Xero—they truly make a complex process simple and seamless.
