Zelt is your all in one people platform for simple management of all vital tasks like running payroll, paying salaries and pensions. From complex tasks to simple to-do's - Zelt can help you automate processes so you and your team can focus on whats most important, your work. This integration with Xero will make your admin burden disappear. You can sync your accounting books to Zelt to ensure that salaries, pensions, deductions, additions are all in order. Zelt will also make sure that you always have your most up-to-date employee information in one place, visible and easy to find.
Zelt + Xero
Zelt syncs to your existing Xero organisation and gets information about your team members.
- Sign up to Zelt with your Xero account.
- Sync employee details and import employee records to Zelt via Xero.
- Manage your Xero usage with tracking and understanding what people have account in your Xero.
- Check if any new joiners should have access and create an account for them at onboarding.
- Make sure you don't forget to remove unused accounts for employees that have already left your company.
- Sync your accounting journal when running payroll for your employees: Salaries, Tax Information, Pensions, Deductions, Additions and more.
Getting started
In order to use this integration you need to set your company on Zelt.
- You can start using Zelt by connecting your Xero and importing employees to Zelt.
- Once this is done - you should have all necessary information from employees to add them to payroll.
- Next - make sure your Company's information is set up in Settings. You will need the Government Gateway information to sync HMRC and Pension Provider credentials.
- In Company settings ensure that Accounting codes are synced to your Xero account. Select correct codes for each line.
- Once your organisation is all set and you have employee's profiles populated you can start running payroll.
- When you reach Accounting Journal step in the Salary app - your payroll report will be posted to Xero.

Amazing Support
I've only just started using Zelt, the platforms capabilities are amazing, lots of stuff in one place and makes for doing payroll that I previously had to access around 3 platforms for much easier.
The biggest plus is their support, they have been absolutely amazing with the onboarding, rapid responses and tailored help.

Huge time and money saver
As an early stage start up time and money is absolutely critical. Zelt's app and integration to Xero has meant our people management process has been effortless. I would highly recommend.
