new to stripe

We havnt received the funds into our account and now client wants a refund as we wont release the goods.

Feel Scammed too!

I added Stripe to Xero to gice clients another option to pay their accounts. One client used this option to pay a total of $170.00 4 months ago and I still have not received this money from Stripe. I have phoned and emailed many times and always get someone different who say they can sort it for me and still no funds through. To rub salt in the wound Xero has just billed me $35.65 for the privillege of losing money through STRIPE! Not a happy customer!!

Scam! Stay Away from Stripe!

I added the stripe to Xero to give an extra option for our clients to pay by card for ease. I was under the assumption that the client would pay the fee if they picked this option. I can see many believed the same, so obviously, that is not clear enough. I lost almost the whole profit left from a job after losing $1,100 for just the fee to Stripe. It was our hardworking money that was taken and that is not Fair at all. I opened a case with AAAC and Fair trading Australia against Stripe. PEOPLE STAY AWAY FROM STRIPE OR LOSE YOUR HARD WORKING MONEY IN A FLASH!!!

Hi Sam—we do make this clear on our pricing page: https://stripe.com/pricing#faqs and are transparent when it comes to fees. The transaction fee is split between Stripe, banks and card networks. For more, please see here: https://support.stripe.com/questions/understanding-fees-for-refunded-payments. That being said, we do have documentation available to help Stripe users pass that fee onto the customer during the final charge: https://support.stripe.com/questions/passing-the-stripe-fee-on-to-customers.

Excessive payment fee+ 10 day payout

I did not read the fine print and got stung with $400 fee for a credit card payment also they take 10 days to payout this yet to see any payment come through. Also could not get through to stripe to reverse this payment. DO NOT USE THIS APP Much better alternatives
