Overview
Staffology Payroll is a web-based, dedicated payroll application with a comprehensive feature set, advanced automation options and an API that covers 100% of functionality.
Suitable for use by accountants as well as business owners that are comfortable with processing their own payroll.
Staffology + Xero
The integration enables you to map pay codes used for payroll with nominal codes in Xero.
Whenever you finalise a payrun in Staffology then a journal is created in Xero.
Getting started
Staffology is available to try for free. You only incur charges when you run a real payroll and submit to to HMRC. So it's completely risk free to set it up and see the integration with Xero.

API hasn’t worked for 1 month and no timeline on a fix
Staffology Payroll support is usually pretty good. However, the API to Xero has been broken for a month now (something to do with Staffology exceeding their permitted links?), with no expected resolution on the horizon. This is a major issue and we are left posting manual journals for scores of payrolls.
