It does the trick

As a small business it does fine, it would definitely be great if the transactions/shopify payments could match. This would make it that bit quicker and one less transaction type to worry about. Other than that it does well.

Good but could be better

Much improved as a result of the most recent update but has the potential to be much better. As others have mentioned, it would be good if the invoices generated matched the payouts from Shopify rather than the daily sales totals or if they at least referenced the payout date to make reconciling easier. It would also be helpful if it was possible to assign different account codes to different sale types, for example online v POS. You could go one better and enable different codes for each different POS location rather than batching all sales together under one account code. This would result in less work editing each invoice based on where the sale originated. The information is in the invoice so it should be relatively straightforward?

It works very well, though its missing the cogs function which is very critical

Pretty good. It keeps my accountant happy and tracks things well which is what I'm most concerned about.
