Overview
Aleph is an AI-native Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) platform built to modernize how finance teams work. It connects directly to Xero and transforms accounting data into a structured, automated, and collaborative planning environment.
Your accounting stays in Xero. Your planning and analysis live in Aleph.
Finance teams rely on Xero for accurate books. But exporting data into spreadsheets, reconciling versions, and rebuilding reports every month slows you down. Aleph eliminates that friction.
With a native Xero integration, Aleph creates a unified source of truth for financial data. It structures your raw accounting data into governed models that power reporting, forecasting, dashboards, and AI-driven analysis.
What Aleph enables
Automated financial reporting
Build dynamic P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports that update automatically from Xero. Standardize management reporting and eliminate manual data preparation.
Driver-based forecasting
Move beyond static spreadsheets. Model revenue, headcount, operating costs, and cash drivers using structured assumptions. Update scenarios instantly as actuals change.
Multi-entity consolidation
Connect multiple Xero organizations. Standardize account mappings, manage hierarchies, and produce consolidated reporting without manual merges.
AI-powered finance workflows
Aleph includes built-in AI tools that help reduce manual effort:
- Detect anomalies and patterns in financial data
- Automate account mapping suggestions
- Generate SQL queries using natural language
- Build analyses using conversational prompts
- Create executive summaries directly from dashboards
AI features are workspace-controlled and designed to assist, not override, your financial governance.
Work where finance teams already work
Aleph supports both a centralized web app and bi-directional spreadsheet add-ins.
Web App

Aleph + Xero
Aleph connects to Xero through a native OAuth authorization flow. No third-party connector is required. You grant access directly within Xero and manage the integration inside Aleph’s web application.
Secure authorization flow
- Initiate the connection from Aleph
- Authenticate in Xero
- Select the organization you want to connect
- Approve the requested permissions
- Return to Aleph to complete setup
Access is scoped to the specific Xero organization selected during authorization.
Data ingestion and structure
Once connected, Aleph imports financial data and structures it into governed tables that support reporting and forecasting workflows.
Typical data synced includes:
- Chart of accounts
- Journals and transactions
- Financial statement data
- Tracking categories
- Organizational metadata
The first sync imports historical records. Depending on transaction volume, this may take time. After the initial load, Aleph performs incremental updates, syncing only new or modified records for efficiency.
Structured financial modeling
Aleph transforms raw accounting data into structured financial models:
- Map accounts into standardized reporting hierarchies
- Define calculation logic once
- Build reusable reporting frameworks
- Apply consistent classifications across entities
This eliminates fragile spreadsheet logic and version conflicts.
Multi-entity consolidation
For organizations managing multiple Xero instances, each entity can be connected independently. Aleph supports:
- Cross-entity account standardization
- Consolidated financial reporting
- Intercompany logic management
- Centralized visibility
Security and governance
Aleph uses token-based authentication aligned with Xero’s security framework. Within Aleph, administrators control:
- User roles and permissions
- Access to tables, dashboards, and workbooks
- AI feature enablement
- Audit logs of user actions
All changes are traceable. Financial data remains controlled and permissioned.
AI augmentation
Once Xero data is synced, AI features can assist with:
- Automated anomaly detection
- Variance analysis acceleration
- Mapping suggestions
- Natural-language data exploration
- Executive summary generation
AI tools are optional and must be enabled by an Admin. They enhance workflows while maintaining human oversight.
By connecting Xero to Aleph, accounting data becomes structured financial intelligence ready for automation, forecasting, and executive decision-making.

What happens next
Initial synchronization
Aleph will begin importing your historical financial data. For organizations with large transaction volumes, this may take time. This is expected and ensures full data integrity.
Incremental syncs
After the initial load, updates are incremental and significantly faster. Only new or changed data is processed.
Post-connection setup
Once data is synced, you can:
- Review and validate your chart of accounts
- Configure reporting hierarchies
- Build financial statements
- Create dashboards
- Enable AI features (Admin-controlled)
- Connect Excel or Google Sheets add-ins
Tips for a smooth rollout
- Start with one entity if you manage multiple Xero organizations
- Validate reports before enabling consolidation
- Assign clear user roles early to maintain governance
- Use structured mappings rather than ad hoc spreadsheet formulas
- Enable AI features once your core data structure is validated
Support and trust
Aleph is designed for rapid implementation. Most teams are operational within days.
The platform is SOC 2 Type II certified and built with strong encryption, access controls, and audit logging. Finance teams retain full oversight of their data.
