HR Partner + Xero
HR Partner integrates with Xero Payroll to keep employee information connected between your HR and payroll systems.
The two-way sync means changes can flow between both platforms. Employee records created or updated in HR Partner can automatically sync to Xero Payroll, and changes made in Xero can flow back into HR Partner. This helps ensure both systems maintain accurate employee information without requiring manual updates in multiple places.
When adding a new employee in HR Partner, you can create the matching employee record in Xero Payroll at the same time. Businesses using multiple Xero organisations can select the correct Xero entity during setup to ensure employee information is sent to the right payroll company.
HR Partner also helps businesses manage the HR processes that support payroll accuracy. Complex leave entitlements, approval workflows and leave balances can be managed in HR Partner, with approved leave information syncing through to Xero Payroll. Timesheets can also be managed in HR Partner, helping businesses track hours, projects and employee time before payroll processing.

Getting started
Linking HR Partner to Xero is super easy. You need to go to your Company Setup screen and nominate the Xero payroll region you wish to link to (Australia, New Zealand or UK), then click on the Integrate menu option to log into your Xero company and begin the sync process. Set it up once, then forget about it until you decide to disconnect the two systems. Our integration runs quietly in the background.
