The team at ShiftCare have been so helpful! Their system is so easy to navigate, and we love the features they have to offer. The team are always taking suggestions on board and constantly making updates and improvements to an already fantastic system

I thoroughly evaluated the market for a platform to manage my support business, and ShiftCare stood out for several reasons: 1. Transparent and affordable pricing: The clear, publicly disclosed pricing structure with flexible licensing tiers is especially accommodating for smaller businesses like ours. 2. Responsive customer service: ShiftCare’s team is friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to address any questions, whether through live webinars or direct support. 3. Flexible seat management: The ability to adjust user licenses mid-cycle and apply credits instantly is a standout feature. 4. Xero integration: ShiftCare’s seamless integration with Xero simplifies invoicing and payroll management. 5. Continuous improvement: ShiftCare maintains a semi-public roadmap, consistently delivering updates and bug fixes that enhance the user experience. 6. Comprehensive support materials: Their extensive library of guides, videos, and webinars offers unmatched resources, making onboarding and ongoing use easy compared to competitors that hide their software behind lengthy processes. Areas for Improvement: - Mobile and UX enhancements: - The mobile app and website need better optimisation for admin tasks, such as managing shifts and inputting data more efficiently. - Improve date pickers to make keyboard input smoother and allow for scheduling shifts at times other than 15- or 30-minute increments. - Xero syncing: Staff information between Xero and ShiftCare should sync automatically. - User management: Allow the app to support multiple identities to avoid repeated logins when managing multiple clients or staff. - Shift management: - Improve handling of split shifts and recurring shifts—splits should be smarter, and a button for indefinite recurrences is needed. - Better visual cues for added shift instructions and confirmations before closing edited shifts would enhance the workflow. - Xero integration issues: Fix exporting bugs like apostrophes and client name formatting that cause issues when syncing with Xero. - Miscellaneous: Minor tweaks like renaming “Resend Invite” to “Send Invite” and adding a confirmation modal when closing shifts being edited would greatly improve user experience.

One of the most valuable aspects of the integration is the ease of syncing fortnightly timesheets from ShiftCare to Xero. This automated process eliminates the need for manual data entry, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. It's a huge time-saver, allowing me to focus on providing quality care to my clients. Additionally, importing invoices from ShiftCare to Xero is a breeze. The integration automatically populates the necessary fields, making the process quick and hassle-free. This has simplified my bookkeeping and improved the accuracy of my financial records. I would like to suggest a potential enhancement to ShiftCare: the ability to automatically divide shifts into different hourly pay rates based on designated pay groups. This feature would further streamline payroll processing and ensure accurate wage calculations, especially for care providers with complex pay structures.
