Great Add-In

We ran the free trial of Scotts Add-In and have since subscribed to the full version. The features are great. We have also queried with regards to a feature that was unavailable and within 2 weeks the team had developed and released the feature for us. What great service! We are using the add in to create spreadsheets in our month reporting packs - primarily budget vs actuals as scotts add ins allows the extraction of budgets and actuals by tracking category! Saves a lot of time and ensures accuray.

Game changing!

This is the ultimate 'value-adding' add-in I wish I knew about years ago! For a small but growing business that isn't ready to take the plunge into a full-blown FPA tool that connects Xero to PowerBI etc, but who still has a need to work efficiently across multiple instances of Xero it's an absolute must-have. As a (very) long term Excel user who has previously only had connectivity with Excel with the enterprise grade ERP solutions I'm over the moon with this - my team can now design and build the financial reports we want without having to export and spend ages reformatting and performing lookups to deal with different chart of account structures etc, and embed the analytics we want in our reports where we want them. And one of the best things - there's a community of like-minded people building cool 'extensions' to get the most out of the tool - great innovation so big thanks to the folks that are doing this - you are legends too.

Big Value & Great Service

The automation and time benefit that can be achieved with Scott’s Add-in is huge. I’d estimate we are saving 5hrs per month and that’s just with one legal entity. In addition to the product offering the service is equally strong with quick SLAs. Thank you

Game-changer in bespoke reporting

Scott's Add-ins has enabled us to design a variety of custom built reports for clients, bespoke for the sector they operate in, and provide the management information useful to make informed business decisions. The support from the team has always been first-class. We would highly recommend this Excel add-in.

Save a week of time

I'm a finance manager of several NFPs and each entity has about 10-50 tracking codes in Xero. This involved downloading Actual vs Custom reports for each tracking code for each entity. if there were any adjustments downloads were needed again. Now with Scott's reporting, I set up a template and then copy to another tab. I can now run a full board package in a matter of seconds at any time of the month, which means my month end reports are down so quickly. Estimated time saving of a last 40 hours a month. Any queries I had with the Scotts was so quickly answered. Having the excel plugin means my reporting is much more flexible that the other custom built reporting packages. This is a game changer for my business.

A great product enabling management reporting , especially for aggregation across multiple entities

We have found Scott's add-in an intuitive and easy product to use to pull in Xero account detail into Excel in real time. We can then cut and dice the info as we choose and drag in other information from other repositories such as Salesforce etc to give us a fully tailored view of our businesses. Once you get your model right, monthly or quarterly management reporting just fall out and because the data is live from Xero there are no errors. Also really important to us is that we can now aggregate information from subsidiaries to give us a global picture of our operations. We initially had a small issue with Excel versions which was easily rectified through sensational support from Scotts - both by email and they were happy to set up a Zoom call to quickly resolve. Highly recommended !
