Overview
Xero and Salesforce, connected both ways
TwoCanConnect for Xero is a native Salesforce app, installed from the Salesforce AppExchange. It runs inside your Salesforce org with no middleware to host, so sales and finance work from the same numbers.
Create in Salesforce, sync to Xero:
- Invoices and repeating invoices from Opportunities out of the box, or from any standard or custom object you set up
- Deposit and milestone invoices: pick a preset such as "Deposit 30%" and every line is scaled to it
- Quotes, saved to Xero as drafts, then marked sent, accepted or declined (Professional plan)
- Purchase orders, one per supplier in a single pass (Advanced plan)
- Invoicing automated with Salesforce Flow (Salesforce Enterprise Edition and above)
See Xero in Salesforce:
- Status, payments and amounts due on every invoice, rolled up to the Account and Opportunity
- Payments both ways
- Credit notes and bills from Xero (Advanced plan)
- Xero PDFs for invoices, quotes, purchase orders and credit notes
- A receivables dashboard and 13 ready-made reports
Set up, or switch:
- A historical sync brings your existing Xero contacts, invoices and payments into Salesforce
- The Matching Tool links Xero contacts, items, invoices and purchase orders to your Salesforce records, with confidence scores
- Switching from another Xero connector? The migration tool keeps your existing links
- Multi-currency, multiple Xero organisations, tracking categories and tax rates
- About 15 minutes to set up, with a guided configuration screen
Pricing:
From A$149 a month, billed annually, with unlimited users and transactions. One Xero organisation is included; more are A$100 a month each. Start with a 14-day free trial, no payment details needed.
Requires Salesforce Professional Edition or above.

TwoCanConnect + Xero
How TwoCanConnect works with Xero:
You connect Xero from the TwoCanConnect configuration screen inside Salesforce, using Xero's secure sign-in. Data goes directly between your Salesforce org and Xero, with no middleware or third-party sync service in between.
When it syncs:
- The ongoing sync runs on the schedule you choose, as often as every 15 minutes
- Send to Xero on a record sends it straight away
- A historical sync brings your existing Xero records across before the ongoing sync starts
What syncs, and which way:
Each Xero organisation is set to One Way (Xero to Salesforce) or Two Way.
- Contacts: two way, matched to Salesforce Accounts
- Invoices: two way; status and payments come back from Xero
- Repeating invoices: two way
- Quotes: two way (Professional plan)
- Purchase orders: two way (Advanced plan)
- Items: two way, as Salesforce Products
- Payments: two way
- Bills: from Xero; status and date changes made in Salesforce sync back (Advanced plan)
- Credit notes: from Xero (Advanced plan)
- Chart of accounts, tax rates, tracking categories and branding themes: from Xero
Multiple organisations and currencies:
Connect more than one Xero organisation to one Salesforce org, each with its own sync settings. Invoices keep their currency and exchange rate. *Reporting in Salesforce:
Invoice and payment totals roll up to Salesforce Accounts and Opportunities (invoiced, paid, due and overdue) and feed the pre-installed receivables dashboard and reports.
When Xero refuses a record:
TwoCanConnect shows why on the record and in its log, so it can be fixed and sent again.
