Overview
The Tyro App is built for Australian businesses within the hospitality, retail, health and professional services industries. This award-winning app allows businesses to simplify their business banking and manage their finances anywhere, anytime. Businesses can view their EFTPOS and eCommerce takings, pay bills or payroll (from their Tyro Bank Account) and even access a business loan offer (for eligible merchants). More specifically, the Tyro App:
- Allows businesses to track their EFTPOS and eCommerce transactions at all their locations, allowing deeper insights into real-time sales performance
- Provides businesses just-in-time reminders if their account is running low on funds for upcoming bill payments
- Notifies businesses if a new payee is included in a batch before they approve the payment
Tyro + Xero
Tyro integrates seamlessly with Xero - supporting Xero payroll and Xero batch payment integrations. With Tyro’s Xero integration you can:
- Get seamless reconciliation with the Tyro Bank Account as transactions feed straight through to your Xero account
- Schedule multiple bills via batch payments that automatically feed into the Tyro Bank Account for your approval without uploading ABA files
- Pay bills via BPAY or as bank transfers and approve in just a touch
- Complete your payroll in a few minutes and avoid ABA files
- Post pay runs directly from Xero and approve them using the Tyro App
Getting started
Getting setup is easy:
- Get Tyro EFTPOS and/or eCommerce and a Tyro Bank Account by visiting https://www.tyro.com/get-started/ or by calling 1300 966 639
- Download the Tyro App for iOS at https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/tyro/id981337478 or for Android at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tyro.merchantbanking
- Activate your Tyro Bank Account in the Tyro App
- Link your account in Xero to your Tyro Bank Account by selecting the ‘Connect to Xero’ notification from the Tyro App
- Once you’ve been guided through the activation workflow, you will also be able to connect your Xero payroll account via the notification shown in the Tyro App
