Overview
ClockIt for Xero provides a simple and easy to use interface which allows you, or members of your teams to clock in and clock out when on site at your active places of work. Upon arrival at / departure from the site of an active job site your workers can clock in or clock out to provide a digital record of the time they spend on site.
ClockIt works like a traditional time clocking machine – clock in when you arrive, then clock out when you leave. A digital record is retained.
Seamlessly integrated into Xero accounts - the clock in and out times you record via the ClockIt Xero app will become visible in the Xero accounts interface of your organisation. From there they can be viewed, edited and approved for payroll when applicable.
To start using ClockIt simply accept an invite to link the app to your employer’s job sites. Once accepted you can start logging time. All of which is viewable in the simple to use interface linked directly to Xero accounts.
Made an error with your time logging, or forgot to clock in or out? Don’t worry, your accounts admin can manually adjust any records at their discretion.

Getting Started
01 Select Organisation
Each time you connect to ClockIt for Xero with your Xero account credentials you will be asked which Organisations you wish to authorise.
02 Dashboard
The Dashboard provides some useful info about the usage of the connected Organisation.
03 Invites
If the user accepts the invite within the 30-day expiry period their account will activate, and they will be able to start clocking in and out at when on site at any of your active projects using the mobile app.
04 Invite
If email is not an option, you can use the Copy button to copy the invite code. The code will be required in order to register the mobile app on your employee’s device into your Organisation.
05 Accept Invite
Upon receipt of an invite email, open the email on a mobile device with the ClockIt app installed. Ensure the ClockIt app is closed. Click the Accept button in the email.
06 App Settings Google Maps
ClockIt uses Google Maps, to help you to easily add the locations of your Projects, and to locate your employees within the ClockIt iOS or Android app.
07 App Settings Default Location
The default location can be set for your convenience, to somewhere close to most of your projects, or head office for example.
08 App Settings Complete
Head over to the Projects screens or Invites screens using the links in the header nav to continue on.
09 Projects
A list of Projects from Xero will be visible in the Projects screen. Once you click into a project, a Job Site will be created which when live can be seen in the iOS and Android apps.
When set to IsLive, the Job Site will become available for clocking in the ClockIt iOS and Android apps.
10 Project Settings
Use the Project settings screen to configure your project location for use with the ClockIt iOS and Android apps.
You will need to select a location for the project. Click to drop a marker on the map at the centre of the job site and set an applicable radius.
11 Mobile Apps
The mobile apps page contains links to the iOS and Android apps. More information on the look and feel of the apps can be found on their respective App Store / Google Play Store pages.
12 CheckIns
Once you have selected the employee to view, use the Week Selector component to select the week that you wish to view the CheckIns for.
You can manually adjust the clock in and out times whenever necessary. You can also add any missed CheckIns.
13 Timesheet
The Timesheet screen presents the final and optional step of exporting the CheckIns for a user, into your Xero accounts instance in the form of a Timesheet.
