Overview
Consolidated XL provides a powerful set of simple Excel functions, used on Mac, PC and Web Excel to facilitate Consolidated Financial Reporting and Analysis by hot linking one or more cells in your sheet to your chart of accounts in Xero using simple to master functions.

WIZARDS TO QUICKLY CREATE REPORTS Use one of our 10+ wizards to quickly create the above Excel reports, customise, or use the 60+ CXL functions we provide to create Financial Wizardry to create Consolidated Management reports, which are optionally broken down into Cost Centres.
Customize, add charts, additional data, conditional formatting, formatting, notes, and establish your own identity or unique financial service. Flexibility, not rigidity!
BUILD ONCE AND RECALCULATE Once created, simply reopen the CXL sheet to refresh with the latest data, charts, etc.
QUICK CHARTS TO VISUALISE DATA Click on CXL values in the sheet to visually analyse sales and costs in the CXL Quick Charts tab to visualise the data and trend analysis quickly. Copy and paste the graph into an e-mail, and send it quickly to the client or boss for discussion.

DRILL DOWN Click on CXL values in the sheet to drill down into related transactions and transaction details.
F.A.S.T. A FAST (Financial Accounting Summarization Table) summarizes all financial information by financial year, quarter, period and week. As a result of this FAST database, Consolidated XL performs very quickly.
Xero - Tracking Codes 1/2 The FAST database summarises turnover by Tracking Codes 1/2 in Xero. Therefore, CXL will return filtered Cost Centre figures at optimal speed.

DAILY SYNC The data is automatically synced every night at the hour of your choice, so you have the latest figures at your fingertips, with manual data sync in seconds.
Consolidated XL + Xero
Consolidated XL comes in two flavours Standard and Pro. Initially Pro syncs all Chart of Accounts, Contacts, Stock* Journals, and Transactions to allow the Excel functions to summarise the figures by Period/Week.
Once a day it will sync any changes in the above using a combination of LastUpdated data or the case of transactions, WebHook calls which are logged and used to update data.
It will backoff if the Hourly API call limits are reached, etc. And revote the token after 55 days if not used.
Getting started
First, you need Excel Office 365 for Mac, PC or Web.
1) For a 5 day trial.
2) Press [Get this app] in the app store
3) Install the Excel Addin from within your Consolidated XL account (red button)
4) Follow the instructions
5) Once installed, you will see a [Consolidated XL] button on the toolbar. Press this
6) On the right is a "Consolidated XL" Task Pane, press [Add] to add a Xero company to report on
7) Wait a few minutes while the initial sync take place, will send you an e-mail when finished
7) In the meantime, use the 3 demo companies for trial
8) Click on "Create" tab above the list of “Connected Companies”
9) Now click on "Balance Sheet" and use wizard to create a consolidated Trail Balance based on the companies you selected
You now have the power set of Excel functions to get summarised Xero data from Excel, enabling you to build your own reports for forecasting analysis of your business or businesses.
