Great visual representation of cashflow. Easy to use, and links well with Xero.

Float has been a game changer for our team managing our cash flow. However, they are missing a lot of features that made me hesitant to give a 5-star review. One important feature is being able to set a scenario item relative to another item from the same custom scenario (not the base scenario). Another feature missing is being able to edit a base scenario line item from within a custom scenario. One more feature missing is being able to add a scenario line item that is set relative to an aggregate (grouped) COC item. For example, we want to set "COGS: Returns" to be 4% of all of our revenue channels combined (Topline Income). If these features could be solved/implemented then I'd for sure change to a 5-star review. Still a great app though and satisfies a lot of our needs that spreadsheets couldn't do.

As a multi-time interim CFO with my own established go-to tech stack I implemented Float for the first time in my current client. This is a fabulous tool and will become a regular system of choice for me. It is intuitive and easy to set up – I had my first cash flow forecast within 2 hours (probably faster than I could have done it in excel). Bank balances are continuously updated from Xero integration / AP & AR balances automatically passed into the forecast / inputting forecasts from multiple sources was straightforward / formatting of the forecast was simple to align with the P&L headings & add balance sheet items / multiple scenarios / beta version multi-entity and consolidations – worked well / great standard reports can go direct to BoD / Much better than using excel. A really great tool for SMEs.
