Zero support and shoddy product

Download this app and try to file a 1099-DIV using only qualified dividends and you can't do it at all without also inputting at least $1 into ordinary dividends. The best advise their "support" could tell me in an email that had many misspelled words, was that I could correct it on a corrected 1099. Ha! So they could charge me twice? No thanks! Fix your website or stop advertising that this is a viable option for people to use. Your support sucks!

I have used tax1099 for two years now. I love it. The cost is reasonable, I normally choose to email them or I print and mail them myself - just the ability to e-mail these helps so much. It is also easy to do corrections when necessary

To prevent any instances of mail being sent and clients being unsure of the mail's progress, we are implementing the USPS intelligent barcode on all mails going out of our facilities. This barcode allows more transparency on the location and last scan of the mail as it goes through the postal system, and the status of each piece will be available to you through your account online. I had high hopes for this program but we had many issues with exporting and importing. We also chose to use the mailing service which was a mistake that forced us to mail many items on our own for additional expense due to failed deliveries. So my only tip is to mail it yourself just to be safe.
Although Xero reviews each app in the Xero App Store, we can’t give any guarantees. It’s up to you to assess the performance, quality and suitability of any app before going ahead.
