I have had repeated problems with this integration since installing. The mapping settings were set up correctly, checked and working, yet Amaka repeatedly lost, deleted or those mappings without warning. Causing sync failures. This then caused transactions to post incorrectly into Xero, created gaps in the data, and left me having to manually investigate and repair the accounting records. The most frustrating part is that the problem was not caused by incorrect setup at my end. The mappings had already been configured correctly. They simply did not remain intact. For an accounting integration, that is a serious issue. You should be able to configure your mappings once and trust that the system will retain them. Instead, I have spent far too much time fixing problems created by the integration itself. I would not recommend relying on this without constantly checking that your mappings have not disappeared or changed.

The Amaka integration is fabulous. To be honest, I was a little naive as to why I needed it but it was free so I signed up. Once I realised how the ingration works and how easy it was to see what shopify sales were tied to which deposits, I knew it was an accounting must. I had to upgrade my xero subscription due to my sales volume, but I think it's money well spent. BUT, that's just the basic tool, the real shining star is the support staff, particularly Dani, who has helped not only really understand the integration but also solved every road block I've run into along the way. I only wish every app had this kind of support service behind it.
