I like the automated approval workflows. However, I recently wanted to work on multiple screens meaning have the next Purchase Order while the other one was incomplete, because I needed to receive some information from the client. The system would not allow me to do so. I had to leave it in draft and go back to it again later. With regard to XERO, it seems to have limited capabilities to handle multiple tracking categories.

I have introduced Approval max to a number of my clients over the past eight years. With many staff working remotely it gives us the ability to have an e-approval system at a cost effective price, speeding up the approval process and providing an audit trail.

We use Approval to manage billing accross 12 of our companies. Its easy to manage multi person approvals for payments with accounts, 3rd party consultants and directors all approving an invoice prior to payment. The app allows easy approval away from my desk. Its easy for non accounts staff who struggle with more technical software.
