Dext is a valuable tool for accurate document capture. It significantly reduces manual data entry and integrates very well with Xero and I would think other accounting systems, helping improve accuracy and efficiency within the Finance function.
It is very user-friendly and extremely easy to navigate. I love the fact that it has digital document storage, which means that documents can be accessed anytime and it serves as a back-up.
Dext truly integrates well, facilitating the smooth transfer of captured data. This integration minimizes duplicate data entry, reduces the risk of human error and helps maintain consistency across our financial records.
While there are opportunities for enhancement in automation accuracy, reporting capabilities and advanced user adoption, the benefits realised through improved efficiency, compliance and document management far outweigh the current limitations.

been using for about ten years. Tried other similar products and they havent been as good. Its gotten a bit more expensive but all software has but its excellent. You pay for what you get.

Wouldn't be without it!
Saves so much time.
User friendly.
Drag & drop never fails.
After drag & drop, bills are processed super quick.
Can print a batch of bills, saving more time, rather than printing each individual email.

Bills can be checked with a quick glance before publishing to Xero.

Julie, great to hear drag and drop is holding up reliably and the batch processing is saving you meaningful time before publishing to Xero. One feature worth switching on if you haven't already is Paperwork Match, which automatically pairs your uploaded bills against incoming bank entries so you can reconcile at a glance rather than cross-referencing manually. Mark, glad Dext is cutting processing time on bills and expenses and making it easier to review historical spend. If you haven't set up Autopublish yet, it's worth a look: once an item is fully coded it publishes straight to your accounting software without a manual push, which shaves another step off the workflow.

Dext has been my go to AI extraction tool for the last 12 years. I would never change for anything else. Recently I implemented a 2 tiered approval process which is brilliant. My client who is a leading solicitor in Sydney Australia is ecstatic.
