There is a monthly charge to connect your Xero and Shopify accounts in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, in addition to Shopify and Xero monthly subscription charges. It’s free to connect Xero and Shopify in all other regions. Pricing is as follows, in local currency: NZ: $20 per month (exc. GST), AU: $20 per month (exc. GST), UK: £10 per month (exc. VAT), USA/CA/SG/ROW: free
Not supported in Shopify integration by Xero
Shopify integration by Xero imports a summary of sales and purchases into Xero but does not account for sales tax in the US. Sales tax data will need to be downloaded directly from Shopify for reporting and filing.
There are some things this integration doesn’t do. Check with your accountant or bookkeeper if you're unsure whether this integration will meet your needs.

Getting started
To connect Shopify Integration by Xero, you’ll need a Xero account and a Shopify store. If you don't have a Xero account, try Xero for free.
- Select the 'Get this app' button to start your connection
- Connect your Shopify store to Xero
- Follow Shopify’s on-screen instructions to connect your Xero account and Shopify store
- If you have multiple Xero organisations, select which one to connect to Shopify
- Set up your integration settings
- Once connected, all Shopify sales will flow into Xero automatically
- Reconcile Shopify transactions in Xero in just a few clicks
- Track your sales, costs and profits and get an accurate picture of your business finances, all-in-one place
