Amazing Support

Always excellent customer service with Roster Elf. Jaydon is super patient and extremely helpful. Provided extra help with Xero as well as Roster Elf.

Great Support

Could do better

Overall, our experience with RosterElf was below average. The migration between the timesheets from RosterElf and Xero is glitchy (sometimes only populating some employees; this meant you had to complete the rest manually); elf support blamed it on a Xero issue. The rota system mainly works, but it is slow to use, with a 2-second delay by auto-saving every amendment made (very tedious if you need to change a start time for your staff quickly). Staff are always having problems signing in/out due to GPS issues. When we cancelled our subscriptions, RosterElf immediately logged us out of our account with 3 weeks left on the subscription and denied a partial refund or use of the reminder time. One positive is the staff leave and availability; the system alerts you when you try to add someone in for a day they can't make. We have gone back to working on fast, easy and reliable spreadsheets.

We completely understand how frustrating it can be to experience delays. From what we could see, those slower response times were tied to your internet speeds, which can definitely make the auto-save function feel sluggish. Similarly, we noticed the GPS clock-in pin was accidentally placed outside your site’s location, so your staff had trouble clocking in—even though they were in the right place physically! Regarding the Xero timesheets import, it looks like a step was missed in following our setup guides. We totally get how easily that can happen, and our team was happy to jump in and help—responding within 16 minutes of your request. We also appreciate you mentioning the UI notification issue; our team went above and beyond to find a fix for that and improve the experience for everyone. Finally, we’re truly sorry about the hiccup with your account access after you canceled. That’s certainly not the experience we want for our customers and is something we’ll keep working on so it doesn’t happen again in the future. Seamless Integration

As an accounting firm we have been using RosterElf for our small business clients and cannot speak highly enough of it. Our clients love how easy it is to use and the the integration with Xero is a winner.
