The hook promoted by Xero was that clients' invoices get paid faster as it gives them credit card options. I very much regret that I set Stripe payments up in my invoicing system. The fees are extraordinarily high and Stripe holds the funds for up to a week. Also, Stripe got many of my details wrong, including my ABN, even through I am sure I filled out the form correctly. Now, I am concerned to change it, as Stripe advises that changing the account details might lead to further delays with payouts. It is such a nuisance, I feel trapped. A terrible company, I rate Xero very highly, that's why I trusted them and thought they would only team up with a very good finance company. A shame! Luckily, most of my clients pay via direct transfer and the amounts are on average bigger, but it would be even more of a nightmare if a business had lots of smaller transactions.

holds your money for to long. take to much of a fee. as a small business holding half my revenue for 6 days is far from ideal. plus it makes reconcilling transaction a nightmare

Stupid idea having to log into a seperate website to collect your money from Xero. An acquaintance has lost 20k through Stripe, and judging by their reviews they have stolen a lot more from others. Fortunately I take fewer, larger transactions so I recommend my customers to transfer instead.

They held my money back too and said 14 days and I argued with them, got my money within 3 and thought why is Xero promoting these guys...this looks and feels really bad for Xero and so far, I have stayed with Xero but I am weary.... Definitely left me sitting on the edge of my seat...

Stripe is terrible with linking to XERO invoices, and it really adds up a lot.
