Address validation utilises the Google API to first verify and cleanse the addresses to minimise printing errors. Once the printing process is initiated, the data is then sent to the courier API. The courier will typically have their own specific criteria e.g. for suburb or city. If the courier returns an error, the print will not go through. It also works on international addresses, something not all shipping platforms can offer. We’re actively working on improvements like better support for dimension-based rules, regularly rolling out requested features at an industry-leading pace (in 2024 alone we solved 258 new feedback requests - almost 1 per working day - driven by 1,645 community votes!).
