Clean, simple and very useful
Great tool, which has allowed us to improve efficiencies within various processes and reviews. Simple to put into place, with a wide range of reports available

Support Second to None!
The software itself is simple but super effective, especially for large consolidation exercises for multiple Xero entities.
However, where Flex really separates itself is the support. On Several occassions Ruairi has resolved our queries in record time.
Strongly recommend!

Does not work with new Xero reports
I recently downloaded this app and tried to run reports in excel and this did not work. When I contacted support they said the out of the box P&L is part of the new “V2” reports Xero rolled out last year (see ttps://blog.xero.com/product-updates/switch-to-new-reports/). Unfortunately, Xero have not updated the API with these reports as yet.
I would support if this has been completed before downloading this app.

Flex gives you direct access to the Xero API “as is” and features evolve with the API as new releases are made by the Xero API team. The Xero API is maintained independently from the main Xero application that you use day to day and not all datasources or reports are available.
I’m certainly disappointed to get a 1-star review for something out of my control, but I’d encourage you to voice your feedback directly to the Xero API team (there is a Xero UserVoice page where you can vote for features) and hopefully they can put more datasources and reports on their development roadmap.
Although Xero reviews each app in the Xero App Store, we can’t give any guarantees. It’s up to you to assess the performance, quality and suitability of any app before going ahead.
