I am using CarbonTrail to calculate the emissions of my business and my suppliers so I can tell customers the carbon emissions involved in doing their work. This is like a second charge on an invoice, as well as the dollars the service cost is also the emissions it cost. This may be a bit crude at the beginning but I am confident it will get better.

We decided to use CarbonTrail so that we could visualise and measure our carbon emissions in real time, instead of at year end. The graphs are really handy for monthly reporting and the UI is very easy to understand. It is great to track what your top emitting suppliers are, and start looking at your supply chain and where you can make reductions. We look forward to seeing this app develop with more features for carbon measurement, offset and initiatives in 2023.
