Solid support for Square-to-Xero issues

I think the integration works well. A couple of extra steps were needed to get every account synced. When an account lost sync I had to troubleshoot and fix it. Amaka gets five stars on this integration because their support has been continuous and consistently helpful. It's often like pulling teeth to get product support these days, but Amaka is doing a good job of supporting their users.

Broken app and very slow technical support

The app doesn't work as advertised. There is no way to speak directly to anyone from support except by sending a form from their website. No direct message or direct email is provided to speak to someone from support. You are not guaranteed a response until they email back. When they email you back, the support person will not be able to actually solve the problems. In our particular case, the app couldn't link the SKU from Shopify to the Item Code in Xero, as written in the information provided before purchase and setup. Adding this feature seemed to require support from the 'Senior Technical Team'. We have been waiting for our case and problem to be raised with the 'senior technical team' for more than a month. The senior technical team has been added as an advisor to our Xero account but have not logged in, which implies that they haven't even looked at our case yet. After undergoing the cumbersome and disruptive process of transitioning to this app for our reconciliation, we have now given up and moved to a different app that worked exactly as described out of the box, without any set up issues. The support for this app was well below what we expected for such an expensive app.

Square & Xero Integration Broken

Alison from Amaka was very responsive and efficient in booking in a time to resolve the issue. Fantastic customer service and now the software is back to working at full capacity!

Excellent Customer Support

There was an issue with the payment link on the invoice. Jacquelyn Dizon was not only prompt to respond but with much patience and professionalism, explained the situation and resolved the problem quickly. Excellent customer assistance, thank you.

Helpful support

It was an easy set up but then something didn't seem right. Support from Jacquelyn Dizon was quick and very helpful in figuring it out. Now everything is talking to each other wonderfully.
Although Xero reviews each app in the Xero App Store, we can’t give any guarantees. It’s up to you to assess the performance, quality and suitability of any app before going ahead.
