Link + Xero
Overview:
Clients, Jobs and Job Tasks are all setup in Xero Practice Manager and pulled through into Link for capacity planning.
Getting Started:
When connecting Link and Xero Practice Manager for the first time, all of your existing job information is pulled through.
Link to Xero Practice Manger:
- Tasks that are scheduled in Link update the tasks in Xero Practice Manger with the estimated time and due dates.
- Tasks that are completed in Link are completed in Xero Practice Manager. If a task is assigned to multiple people, the task in Xero Practice Manager will only be completed once everyone assigned to the task completes it.
- Any job information that is updated in Link is updated in Xero Practice Manager.
Xero Practice Manger to Link:
- Link checks for updates in Xero Practice Manager every ten minutes for new or modified timesheets, new tasks and jobs.
- Link also checks Xero Practice Manager every 24 hours for changes made to job fields.
