TidyBuild + Xero

TidyBuild takes care of your construction workflow cost and income detail sending the financial information seamlessly from TidyBuild across to Xero through Tidy's simple mapping functionality. Manage staff time and payroll information, expenses, machine/asset usage, subcontractors, works orders, margins, purchase orders and the receipt of materials and their ongoing control in Tidy. Tidy provides your building/construction firm the operational “heavy lifting” then sends to Xero what it needs to deal with the financial accounting.

Getting started

Syncing your Xero account with TidyBuild is quick and easy. Follow the steps below for a step by step guide on how to do this in minutes.

  1. Sign in to your Tidy account
  2. Go to 'Global Settings' at the top of your browser window
  3. Locate the ‘Xero’ section in the 'organization' tab of 'Global Settings' and click it
  4. You will now see a green button ‘Connect to Xero”
  5. Clicking the button will open a new browser window where you’ll be asked to authenticate with Xero (just follow the prompts)
  6. You have now connected TidyBuild with Xero!

I gave up spreadsheets two years ago when I got sorted with TidyBuild. I know exactly where a job is at, at any point in time. TidyBuild gives us confidence when we're quoting because we know what the costs are. If the quote is accepted we know what percentage we're going to make. It gives us focus. We're flat out at the moment, so it helps us decide which jobs we want because we know from TidyBuild those jobs with a better margin.

Great integration and easy to use. Tidybuild has made project management so much easier for our building company, onsite and in the office!
