Their integration software is fantastic and they were extremely helpful in setting this up for my client. My client has a single Square account but linked to two different bank accounts and therefore two different Xero subscriptions but Amaka were able to integrate this arrangement easily by Square Location. I do strongly recommend speaking to an Amaka Integration Specialist to guide you through the process though as it was confusing given the different data options available so the call was invaluable for me. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Amaka for Square integrations.

The integration bypasses the traditional sales tax tracking and reporting system in Xero, which can make reporting sales tax difficult, since neither of the other platforms have very good sales tax reports. If mapping isn't kept up to date, data can be lost. Anything that isn't mapped (new categories) is dumped into the universe. There is no holding pattern for items that don't already have mappings set, no warning system that information isn't going to be included in the sync. It's free - but you get what you pay for. There are other inexpensive options out there that do a better job.
