Thanks to ScaleXP we finally have a single source of truth!! This is a brilliant platform which really allows you to drill down into your numbers without the manual overheads. As a business we have never had this level of visibility, the different dashboards and reports have allowed us to understand our revenue like never before and the deferred revenue, prepayments and invoice drafting automations have saved us time and money already! The process of onboarding has been seamless, the team really took the time to get to know our business needs and guided us through the whole process so that we can get the most out of the platform whether it was in on a call of via their very extensive knowledge base! A shout out to them 😊 I am excited to see where this platform takes us as well as where they go, it sounds like there are some exciting things to come which will make our lives a lot easier! I would highly recommend!

One of the biggest weaknesses with Xero is that it does not do Revenue Recognition. We are a medium sized SaaS business so I was primarily hunting for a good software tool to handle Rev Rec that integrated with Xero. So we could ditch the manual Excel spreadsheets. ScaleXP is absolutely brilliant in handling this automation creating draft journals into Xero. However, I discovered ScaleXP does far more in terms of Reporting, Budgets, Forecasts, Cost recognition handling Prepayments, Dashboards, Metrics and Presentations, Customer Reporting. A brilliant piece of software engineering that I would highly recommend to any accountant that seeks to make their lives more efficient and save time and money.

Not only is this a great tool and a timesaver, but within weeks is providing insights into my SaaS business that I never had before. We now have consolidations with eliminated accounts, a deferred revenue schedule that is automated, automated journals and all the metrics and reporting we need. It has replaced the previous reporting tool we had in place so a cost saving there as well. The tool is flexible, intuitive, and fun to use. The support team are very responsive (and patient). I regret not having implemented sooner - so my advice is to do it now because your team will never be fully ready and your data will never be completely clean. The visibility it gives you and data cleansing capability is great so you get to where you need to be quickly.

Before ScaleXP, there was a lot of manual labor that went into reporting revenue on event start date versus invoice issue date. ScaleXP has made our revenue recognition reporting so much easier. It has been a real time saver! The Saas metrics and customizing the dashboard for quick financial visibility are great features. All in all, ScaleXP has been easy to navigate and understand. I am very happy with our set-up. A special mention must go out to the incredible support team, who consistently keep us up to date and respond to queries almost instantly. Being part of a Startup/ScaleUp/SME Company, ScaleXP is the perfect friend, with multi-currency, consolidated reporting, deferred revenue and SaaS metrics. It is easy to use, great to edit so that your reports look the way you want it to. Their support team is amazing, they respond to requests quickly and will try and make your life as easy as possible! I'm an independent Finance consultant providing support to several SaaS clients, who use ScaleXP predominantly to calculate deferred revenue for any subscription contracts. The tool has proved to be an invaluable way of getting rid of clunky and potentially erroneous spreadsheets, and to focus more time on understanding what the numbers mean rather than generating them. Customer support has been superb too. Firstly, the ScaleXP team takes the time to ensure that customers know how to use the product and can effectively tailor it to their own business model. Secondly, I have been impressed that ScaleXP has taken feedback on potential improvements to the tool, and is willing to share visibility of how those improvements will look in the development sandbox. It is a very collaborative relationship. Finally, in my own explorations around ScaleXP there are many other features especially around SaaS metrics that my clients and I are yet to take advantage of fully, so I am looking forward to seeing how those will streamline month end activities further. In summary, SaaS businesses can’t go too far wrong with ScaleXP.
