Getting started
Once you’ve created a Harvest account, linking it to Xero is simple.
- Create a Harvest account.
- Go to Settings and scroll down to Integrations.
- Click Connect to Xero.

Too basic out of the box - but awesome with InfoSpark
The Xero connector is too simplistic - only supporting a single account code and not marking invoices as paid. The InfoSpark Xero connector is awesome to allow for all of those limitations to be addressed so that it's all fully automated.

Good integration but one downside
Sending invoices from harvest to xero is great. The downside is when you reconcile an invoice in xero it doesn’t automatically mark it as paid in harvest so you have to manually do this.
I’m using finalsync.co.uk that takes care of that bit perfectly so I no longer have to manually mark harvest invoices as paid. It’s now automated. Why the xero integration doesn’t do this as standard is beyond me.

Seamless
It might need a little love, some features could be upgraded, but we used it for 3-4 years and we really are satisfied!
