Proformas, Operating Reports, Cash Flow, Tracking Category comparisons, budgets, and multi-org consolidations, are just some of what you can do.

Here’s a list of the custom Excel functions:

= SCOTT.CHART. Returns the chart of accounts.

=SCOTT.DESC Returns the account description for a given account code.

=SCOTT.GL Returns the sum of all transactions for a user specified date range.

=SCOTT.RANGE Returns the sum for a range of account codes.

=SCOTT.GLMULTI Returns the sum of multiple gl accounts and ranges.

=SCOTT.XBUDGET Returns the Xero budget

=SCOTT.XTRACK Returns the sum of an account code for a Tracking Category / Option.

=SCOTT.XTRACKR Returns the sum for a range of account codes for a Tracking Category / Option.

=SCOTT. XTRACKM Returns the sum of account transactions that have BOTH Xero Tracking Categories assigned.

As an example, the syntax for =SCOTT.GL

=SCOTT.GL (Organisation ID, Account Code, Start Date, End Date)

Simply download the add-in from the Microsoft store, connect your spreadsheet to one or more Xero organisations, and you are on your way to creating beautiful financial art.

Great app, easy to use and good support

We have only recently started using Xero and I wanted an easy way to pull data into Excel. Scott's Addin does exactly that in an intuitive and easy to understand way. Their support is also very responsive and quickly resolved any questions I have had.

Great Add-In

We ran the free trial of Scotts Add-In and have since subscribed to the full version. The features are great. We have also queried with regards to a feature that was unavailable and within 2 weeks the team had developed and released the feature for us. What great service! We are using the add in to create spreadsheets in our month reporting packs - primarily budget vs actuals as scotts add ins allows the extraction of budgets and actuals by tracking category! Saves a lot of time and ensures accuray.

Game changing!

This is the ultimate 'value-adding' add-in I wish I knew about years ago! For a small but growing business that isn't ready to take the plunge into a full-blown FPA tool that connects Xero to PowerBI etc, but who still has a need to work efficiently across multiple instances of Xero it's an absolute must-have. As a (very) long term Excel user who has previously only had connectivity with Excel with the enterprise grade ERP solutions I'm over the moon with this - my team can now design and build the financial reports we want without having to export and spend ages reformatting and performing lookups to deal with different chart of account structures etc, and embed the analytics we want in our reports where we want them. And one of the best things - there's a community of like-minded people building cool 'extensions' to get the most out of the tool - great innovation so big thanks to the folks that are doing this - you are legends too.
