Terrible

Can’t ever log in on existing accounts, don't have a clue where the money paid from customers has gone ? Waste of my life.

IF IT WERE POSSIBLE, I WOULD LEAVE A ZERO STAR REVIEW

In December of 2025, my computer was hacked. Someone got into my computer remotely and changed the payout account to some company I can't get any information about. After four days, I realized that I wasn't getting my payouts into my bank account and the emails from Stripe were going into my Span folder. I immediately notified Stripe and asked them to reverse the transactions. It took the four days to do so, by which time the account was empty. They then took another three weeks to "investigate," during which time they shut off any payouts for a week and cut off my access to their system for a day. At the end of their investigation, they decided there was nothing they could do and that they were blameless. I pointed out that they changed the bank account without asking for a Multi-Factor Authorization, which I had on the account, and that the reason that the thief was able to get into that account was because, by default, Stripe stays connected to the computer unless you deliberately sever the connection by logging out (every other financial account auto-logs out after a period of inactivity - Stripe does not). You cannot tell the Stripe connection to auto-close, you have to close it each time and it can stay connected for greater than 24 hours without activity. I admit, I should have been more careful in not allowing someone to get into my computer, but Stripe did not secure the funds at their end and did not ask for any confirmation before changing the account. I lost over $6,000 to a thief because of Stripe - which may not sound like a lot but was devastating to me at the end of the year. Finally, Stripe's position was that they were in no way responsible but they refused to provide me with any information regarding the account my funds were sent to. They suggested that I contact "local law enforcement" - live in a county with 20 law enforcement officers. They have no experience with cyber crimes. Stripe could have done more but simply didn't care. Do not trust them with your money.
