Once connected, Payroo pushes payroll journals—including wages, superannuation, and tax liabilities—directly into Xero after each pay run. Getting started
To integrate with Xero, you’ll need:
- Owner or Admin access to your Payroo account.
- An active Xero subscription.
- Admin or Advisor access to your Xero organisation.
Connecting Xero to Payroo
- Log in to your Payroo account and navigate to Integrations → Xero.
- Click Connect to Xero.
- Authorise Payroo to access your Xero organisation.
- Choose your organisation and confirm access.
- Import your Chart of Accounts and select how payroll bills should be mapped.
Once connected, every completed pay run in Payroo can automatically create a corresponding bill in Xero — ready for reconciliation.
