Overview
Dytto: the AI agent platform that takes action for accounting firms
Accountants lose hours to email, lookups, and repetitive tasks. Dytto takes that on, working inside the tools your firm already uses (Xero, your practice management software, working papers tools like Silverfin, and public registers like Companies House), so you get time back for clients, not admin.
What Dytto does
- Brings the full client picture together. Emails, notes, and client data from Xero and your other systems in one place, so anyone on the team can get up to speed on a client in seconds.
- Keeps work on track. Ask what's outstanding on a client. Dytto lists the open items and suggests the next step, so you finish in one pass.
- Gives answers you can trust. Combines your firm's own knowledge with official sources like HMRC and Companies House. Every answer links back to where it came from, not a guess.
- Runs onboarding checks on UK companies. Directors, owners, charges, insolvency cases, and disqualified directors, straight from Companies House. It downloads the filed accounts as PDFs too.
- Handles email and calendar. Drafts replies in your tone, sends them with your approval, and manages your Outlook calendar: checks your schedule, books, moves, or cancels meetings.
- Reads the files clients actually send. PDFs, scans, photos, Word, Excel, and CSV. Drop a scanned invoice in the chat and Dytto reads every line item.
- Builds and updates Excel files and PDFs. Workbooks with live formulas, not pasted values. It fills PDF forms too. All from the chat, no manual exports.
- Takes real action, not just chat. Posts invoices, payments, and journals straight into Xero and your other connected tools. You approve every action before Dytto writes anything.
- Turns repeat work into a skill. Finish a task once and say "save this as a skill". Next time it runs in one click. Attach your firm's templates, like a standard letter or a workbook layout, and every run follows them. Keep a skill to yourself or share it with the firm.
What firms are seeing
- "Dytto saved me hours of work today. I'm genuinely impressed." A senior accountant using Dytto day to day.
- One firm turned a task that used to take two days into a 15-minute job, without changing how they already worked.
Who Dytto is for
- For accounting and bookkeeping firms that want to give clients proactive service, not just compliance. From solo practitioners to multi-team practices, in the UK, Europe, and the US.

Dytto + Xero
Dytto + Xero
Dytto works alongside your Xero data to keep your team on top of client work. Your numbers stay in Xero. Dytto handles the context, follow-ups, and busywork around them.
Once connected, Dytto reads your Xero data in real time and bases every answer, draft, and summary on it. There's no re-keying and no separate copy of your books to maintain. When you want to act, Dytto writes back to Xero, always with your approval.
What Dytto can see in Xero
- Contacts (customers and suppliers)
- Invoices, bills, credit notes, quotes, and purchase orders
- Payments and bank transactions.
- Manual journals and the chart of accounts
- Tax rates, tracking categories, and items
- Repeating invoices, batch payments, overpayments, and prepayments
- Organisation settings and record history
- Key financial reports: balance sheet, profit & loss, trial balance, aged payables and receivables, and budget summary
- Attachments on the above
What that lets you do
- Ask client-specific questions and get answers based on live Xero figures you can trace back to the ledger.
- Draft emails and updates that already reference the right balances, invoices, and dates, with no copy-pasting from Xero.
- Spot what needs attention, such as overdue receivables or unreconciled items, without opening every report.
- Take real action, with approval. Raise and email a sales invoice, enter a supplier bill, record a payment, post a credit note, send a quote, add a purchase order, log a bank transaction or transfer, or update the chart of accounts and manual journals. You approve every one before it posts.
How your Xero data is shared
- We use your Xero data only inside your firm's own Dytto workspace, combined with data from your other connected tools to build each client's full picture.
- The AI models process it to generate answers and drafts. We never use it to train them.
- We never share it outside your firm, and we never sell it.
Dytto + Xero Practice Manager
Dytto also connects to Xero Practice Manager (XPM), so your firm's own workflow sits next to the numbers.
What Dytto can see in XPM
- Clients and client contacts
- Jobs, including tasks, notes, costs, and status
- Time entries
- Quotes: current, draft, and past
- Staff assigned to a job
- Practice invoices, including drafts and payments
What that lets you do
- Manage clients. Create, update, and archive clients and their contacts.
- Run jobs from the chat. Create jobs from your job templates or from scratch, add tasks and notes, log costs, and move a job's status forward.
- Raise a quote straight from a job, without opening XPM.
- Log and update time entries as you go, or catch up at the end of the day.
- See what you've billed. Ask what's invoiced on a job, what's still in draft, and which invoices are unpaid.
- Upload documents straight to a client or a job.
Staff records and practice invoices are read-only. Dytto doesn't edit those yet.
