CloudPayroll further improves the workflow of dealing with all your payroll
data by integrating with Xero.
Connect CloudPayroll to Xero today to see a noticeable difference in time spent on your accounts.
CloudPayroll can send General Ledger postings directly into Xero as authorised accounts payable invoices. Once the payments have been debited from the bank account, these invoices can be reconciled to the payments using Xero's Bank Reconciliation.
CloudPayroll can track your payroll costs to your chart of account codes and you can also assign tracking categories to these codes.
The CloudPayroll interface with Xero is really easy to set up.
1. In CloudPayroll go to the 'Setup' menu then 'Interfaces' and connect CloudPayroll to Xero.
2. You then add all the payroll chart of account codes from Xero to CloudPayroll under 'Costing/GL, when adding these you can also add tracking categories. (you can also upload all of these via spreadsheet upload on this screen)
3. You then attach a Cost Centre to each person's 'Personal Details' under
the 'People' menu, 'View People'. If you need to split the cost over several
Cost Centre's, you do this on the 'Timesheet Template'.
