Business Overview
We provide multiple options to give you the best view of how your operations are running:

The Allocations Calendar allows you to allocate your jobs to staff members or contractors quickly and easily, and gives you an overview of who is where and when.

The Job Calendar allows you to go over the bookings for each day, check reports, and mark them off as complete from a single interface.

The Monthly Calendar gives you an overview of the months jobs so you can see where your spaces are to fill when booking new jobs.

BASEAPP On Site
On-site workers interact with BASEAPP through a phone app designed to be as simple to use as possible. Capture evidence about site conditions and be on top of any issues before they become a problem. Provide your workers a list of questions to answer through the day to track exactly what you need to so you can provide evidence of work required or site conditions when needed.
Xero Integration
Integration with Xero allows you to create purchase orders for your contractors and invoices for your clients with a single click, and then email them when you are ready, all from the job screen. Record extra requirements that a job had to later invoice clients for the extra work and expense required to minimise unpaid work and unrecovered costs.
Document Management
Upload documents to BASEAPP to keep all your important paperwork in one place. For example:

BASEAPP + Xero
Integration with Xero is a quick and easy process. After following the Getting Started steps, you will be able to enjoy the following benefits within BASEAPP:
Contacts

Import client information. When adding clients into BASEAPP, we can import their information from Xero based on their name. You don't have to type out their email address again, we will use Xero's!

Import employee and contractor details. When adding contractors and employees, we can import their information too! With their name and a single click, we can look up everyone who matches in your Xero contacts. If we find multiple matches, we will let you choose the right one. If we only find one match, we will fill in the fields for you.
Invoicing and Purchase Orders

Raise Invoices. Creating invoices in Xero is quick and easy in BASEAPP. From the job card screen, after you add your incoming purchase order details, with a single click we can create an invoice in Xero for you, ready to send to your client. The purchase order is attached, and all the details are filled in for you.

Create purchase orders Creating purchase orders in Xero is just as easy. When placing an order for materials with a supplier, or booking in a contractor to work on a job, you can fill in an amount and raise a purchase order for them with a single click!

Direct Links. With both invoices and purchase orders BASEAPP provides convenient links directly to Xero so you can check your invoices and purchase orders at any time!
Communication

Send emails. After creating an invoice or purchase order, BASEAPP can send it out in an email on your behalf! By clicking on a single button, you client will receive an email with your invoice and their purchase order, or your contractor will be sent the purchase order.

Attachments. Your original purchase order from your clients will be attached to outgoing emails automatically to help them pay you faster.

Getting started
Sign up for BASEAPP
To get started with a demo of BASEAPP, click the “Get This App” button on the Xero App Store listing. Once you have decided to give BASEAPP a go for your business, you can upgrade from the demo to a full subscription. To upgrade from the demo, contact BASEAPP staff to arrange a time for us to catch up with you.
Connecting to Xero
Connecting your Xero account to BASEAPP is simple and takes a matter of moments.
- Log into BASEAPP.
- Head to the Settings page via the link in the top right.
- Click the Xero Integration button.
- Click on the “Connect to Xero” button.
- If you see the Xero login page, fill in your Xero credentials and log in to your Xero account.
- Once logged into Xero, you will be asked to select the Xero organisation you would like to use with BASEAPP.
- At the top of the screen will be a drop down box to choose the organisation you want to connect with.
- After selecting one, click the “Allow Access” button at the bottom.
And that is all! You have successfully connected BASEAPP to Xero and can now enjoy the benefits!
