Awesome support

While Draftworx is pretty intuitive to use and the Xero direct import works well, every now & then I find there’s something beyond my expertise. Fortunately, that’s where Draftworx support kicks in and they resolve the issue by online connection and the linked chat. Very seldom need to wait for more than a few minutes for them to jump in to help.

I don’t understand the 5 star reviews as my experience with Draftworx Cloud has been far from 5 stars. The biggest complaint is the direct import from Xero into Draftworx simply doesn’t work as advertised. The TB import and consequent mapping is completely wrong which no one at Draftworx is capable of answering. The only response I get is “you need to re-map your TB”. What’s the point I ask? If Xero has a pre-existing chart of accounts that separates between Assets, Liabilities, Equity and Income statement why then is Draftworx incapable of importing based on this chart of accounts? It is hugely frustrating having an account in Xero named “Accumulated depreciation…..” with a clearly defined account to “Non-current asset” importing to some random income statement account when it hits Draftworx. As you can imagine when you have chart of accounts/TB with a few hundred lines the time wasted having to re-check mapping is hours if not days. Then we get to the formatting and editing of financial statements. This you need the patience of a saint as something as simple as moving note numbers takes hours to achieve as you literally have to move the note line by line throughout the entire set of financials. Want to run a spell check on your financials? Forget about it, Draftworx Cloud can’t do that either.

Dear Justin, firstly, let me apologise for your experience. That is not what we aim to deliver. Please can you reach out to our service manager at info@draftworx.com with your details? We'd like to sort out the import issue. We have several import options and would appreciate your feedback to improve them and help us diagnose the issue. We might be able to suggest an alternative that will make life easier. Likewise, with the difficulty in moving notes. You are correct about the spellcheck issue, and we will be working hard to include it. Thank you for your review, and we would appreciate it if you could help us do better.
