Does not link purchase orders to Projects

Works well except no way of keeping track of purchases until invoices received from supplier. Tried using estimated expenses but duplicated a lot of work.

Disappointing

Disappointing and lacking proper support. Essential functions such as progress claims, rearranging items, and templates are just not possible. Support has been classic Xero - they send you from one forum to another, never answer your questions, and reset the feature request numbers.

High expectations, but disappointing

Found the app to be inconsistent with the rest of the in-built quotes tool. Unable to handle labour with day rates only (which some of my clients prefer). Unable to support discounts on labour/line items (again, a feature thats standard on quotes, missing in Projects). Just feels like its still work in progress and nobody is improving it. Not sure I'll continue paying for it, might as well go back to using excel or look at another addon, pity when a single platform could so easily be the answer..

Very Poor

Xero Project lacks a lot of very basic but essential functions. It is not possible to import projects from another system. It is not possible to assign invoice to projects when entering Invoices with Hubdoc, Purchase Orders cannot be assigned to Projects.

It's OK. Lacks functionality.

For very, very simply projects it's fine. But when you're managing many supplier bills and customer invoices, the lack of integrated purchase orders, the ability to only take one deposit that you cannot bill against incrementally and a range of other issues...you quickly outgrow it. Xero have spent more time working on the reports relating to Projects rather than improving the product itself.

Way Too Simple

Lacks functionality you'd expect from a project manager - such as seeing total estimated costs upfront (they have reports for this but need to be re-run every time you make changes). Essentially just Quotes that link to Bills with a new screen, but doesn't provide all the information readily that you'd get by creating a single Quote and multiple Bills and checking each.
