A Must-Have for Xero Users

I've been using G-accon for Xero for over a month now, and it has already proven to be an incredibly handy addition to our finance workflow. The biggest time-saver is the automated data extraction. No more logging into multiple entities to pull down reports one by one. I also highly value the flexibility to build customised reports directly through G-accon rather than being limited by Xero's standard reporting templates. We are still exploring the platform's deeper functionality, but I am looking forward to testing out data loading (like bulk invoices and manual journals), running multi-entity consolidations, setting up automated report schedules, and leveraging the Claude integration. Highly recommended for anyone looking to streamline their Xero reporting!

Great Middlewear for Granular Power BI Data

Customer service team very helpful. We needed a way to move granular Xero data to Power BI which is harder to find than anticipated. G-Accon gives great granular control on Xero data into Google Sheets which can then feed Power BI. Governance lock down of data done at the G-Accon level before data is populated in the Google Sheet.

Super useful !

G-Accon has saved us so much time in generating documents in bulk in Xero. And their support team is very supportive.

Great productivity app

G-Accon is a great tool to make the use of Xero's API accessible. It's helped our firm to increase productivity, build and automate custom reports, all without a steep learning curve.

Disappointing & Excellent

The primary purpose of subscribing to G-Accon was to export consolidated reports for management. This has been very disappointing as the exported P&L reports are unusable without significant rework. In my opinion, the unformatted & formatted consolidated P&L reports are a mess. The line items are sorted in a random order. Not alphabetical or account number. You can't disable account numbers appearing in the line item description. The consolidated formatted report has spaces in front of the line items to create indents. These indents are applied randomly to line items. The spaces make it difficult to rework the report. The unformatted report is missing totals for the income and expenses sections. It has no "Net Profit" line. The individual company reports are ok, sorted in alphabetical order. I contacted support 2 months ago, and received a prompt response, "We are currently conducting a thorough review of the issue on our end.". My follow-up emails have received no response, and the problems persist. This is very disappointing. The automation, journal upload and other features are excellent. We have incorporated them into our daily routines. I'm not sure if I will renew my subscription because the key features aren't working as promoted.

Response from G-Accon for XERO

We are working on improving the ordering of line items in consolidated reports. Unfortunately, this is not a trivial task, as different organizations can have very different chart of accounts structures and ordering requirements. That said, we understand the importance of having clean, management-ready reports with predictable ordering and formatting, and this is an area we are actively reviewing for improvement. Please give us some more time to resolve this issue. We appreciate your patience and feedback, as it helps us prioritize these enhancements.
