Overview
This is for Rural Contractors using Xero as their accounting and invoicing tool, who are also users of TracMap’s job management platform, TracMap online.
This integration provides major benefits to business as it streamlines the workflow from the job done in a paddock, all the way back to a completed job report and invoice. This clearly reduces the need for double entering data, which saves time and reduces the margin for error. Furthermore, the data has more integrity as it has been captured automatically from the field and flows into the invoice without manual entry, providing benefits to both the contractor and the customer.

TracMap + Xero
When a job is completed in TracMap Online, a draft invoice can be created in Xero from the data captured in the field by a TracMap device.
A TracMap job report can be attached with the invoice and the invoice status will appear in TracMap Online to ensure all jobs have been invoiced.
Easy Invoicing Simply select completed jobs and automatically create invoices in Xero.
Job Valuation Understand how much every job is really worth to your business.
No Missed Invoices Never miss out on billing out a job as the Xero integration will tell you the exact invoice status for every job.
Send Job Reports You can choose to attach a pdf of the completed job to your customer when you send the invoice.
Getting started
Simply be a user of TracMap’s job management platform, TracMap Online, as well as holding a Xero account, then go to your admin page in TracMap Online to sign into Xero.
Once signed in you can customise your fields on an invoice and other details you would like the customer to see.
Once happy with the setup, simply click the “Invoice” button on a completed job in TracMap Online and a preview of the invoice will appear. Fine tune any of the details before completing and sending a job through to Xero as a draft invoice.
